An interesting homemade soap recipe for recycling soap to save you time, money and effort. Everyone can gain something from this.

Recycling is a very hot topic right now, as it should be. This is great not only because of an increased global consciousness of environmental problems, but also because it opens new opportunities for fun projects with your homemade soap. Yes, you heard right. Soap is sadly one of the things we tend to take for granted, and we often don't even notice how we throw away pieces of soap which could actually still be used. This little homemade soap project is not only fun and practical, but could help you realise just how much the world is wasting.

Your main ingredient will be homemade soap pieces that you save up until you have enough to fill up some cups. For your first try you could use some of the homemade soap you have just completed making. Select a bucket, tin or other storage device in which you can keep the bits and pieces of soap that you would normally throw away and put them in your selected recycling bin until the day that you wish to try out this marvellous homemade soap making project.

What you need:

A few cups of soap pieces.
A blender.
Scented oils (optional).
Coloring (optional).
A tin, bucket or other storage device (an empty hand soap dispenser works very well if you wish to keep it in your bathroom).

What you need to do:

1.Throw all your soap bits into a blender with a little bit of water.
2.Slowly chop all the soap bits in the blender, adding a bit of water and short intervals until the mix turns into a pudding type substance.
3.If you choose to add some colorant or scented oils then now would be a could time to add it. Only use a little bit and mix well.
4.Pour your liquid into a bucket that has a sealable lid or into a hand soap dispenser.
5.Enjoy!

Really simple isn't it? Just remember to keep the soap tightly sealed or your soap will dry out. You could use the soap as regular bath soap, or dilute it in a bucket of hot water which will make it usable for a world of other things. The soap will be scented to suit your specific special taste. There simply is no way that is more fun and practical for you to be crafty and creative while saving money and doing your bit for the environment thanks to this simple homemade soap recipe.
